Several people have books to get knowledge from, people and opportunities to acquire skills from, but they remain ignorant for they do not want to learn or do not see a need to learn. Some people made their place in history, though they were not even privileged enough to go to school. With strong will, they created resources to acquire knowledge and skills to be what they wanted to be.

Abraham Lincoln would borrow books to learn. He would even clean cars, mow lawns or whitewash houses for books. He graduated in Law and became the president of the United States of America. If there is a will, people find ways to acquire knowledge and skills and hence miracles.

A positive attitude - a "strong will" a "burning desire", a "killing passion", "fire in the belly" is indeed the best thing, one could have or develop. Only positive attitude can get people out of misery.
