Washing and Bathing
Narrated Abu Huraira: "The Prophet said, "Subhan Allah! A believer never becomes impure." (Sahih Bukhari)
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace
and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is the duty of every
Muslim to take bath once a week washing therein his head and his body."
(Agreed upon) Whosoever comes for Friday, he should take a bath. Whoso
takes a bath, he should try to achieve maximum of purity, oil his hair
and use a perfume; if he does not have a perfume, he should borrow it
from his wife. (Mishkat Al-Masabih) Abu Huraira reported the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) saying: None of you must wash in standing water when he is in a state of Junub. And Abu Huraira was asked how it was to be done; he said: It was to be taken out in handfuls. (Sahih Muslim) |
